In October 2021 the “Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe” was held at the Paris-Longchamp racecourse.
A few spectators who had come by car, parked in the central car park of the racecourse. Upon leaving they were unable to use their remote control to unlock the doors.
A transmitter, activated for the countdown to the start of the race, had remained on!
The 433.8 MHz frequency scrambled the remote opening controls of the cars, set to the same frequency.
